NETBALLHer

It may be that you haven’t stopped playing over the summer but this is the traditional time when thoughts turn to getting ready for the start of the season. With that in mind, we thought we’d give you a reminder that NETBALLHer is there with you and for you, every step of the way.

Learning Offer >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Have you completed NETBALLHer’s Learning Offer yet? We all know that unique things happen in a woman’s body. For starters we have menstrual cycles and breasts. In pelvic health, in nutrition, in movement – we’re different to men.

For active females to thrive they need to move, train and play differently – and that’s where this comprehensive course comes in. Designed entirely for her – mind, body and sport – the course ensures you can feel confident creating environments where she will thrive.

So if you haven’t yet registered, there is no better time! And be sure to check out all the free member-exclusive modules.

Court Short Kits >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

And as you start to get your head in the game, think about what’s in your Court Short kit. Have you restocked yours? Find out more about what to include.

Kits will typically contain various types of sanitary towels, tampons, wipes, and spare underwear. So, if players, coaches, or officials have forgotten to bring spare pads, leak or start their period during netball there will be products there to support them. It’s a great idea to have a Court Short Kit available at each event for any players who may get caught short at netball.

Sports bras >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

It is so important that female athletes have a well-fitting sports bra. Find out how you can get the perfect fit

Feed the body >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Eating healthily is not cutting out whole food groups. It is not skipping meals. It is not fasting. It is not swerving carbs. It is not just eating green leaves forever more So before you start your season, make sure you read up on our top nutrition tips to best fuel your body.

Back from injury? >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Check in with any of your teammates returning to court after an injury and make sure to take advice on managing returns from injury from Danni.

Feet first >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

It’s really important to ensure that the trainers you wear to play netball in are well-fitting and properly adapted to your body – the differences between men’s and women’s feet are stark and that has not always been reflected in trainers! Find guidance on how to find the right fit here.
